The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

COL Michael E. Koch
Class of 2016

Colonel Koch’s key assignments include: Chief of Staff, Defense Commissary Agency, Fort Lee; Commander, Division Support Command, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum; Chief Logistics Branch, F-4, Joint Chief of Staff; Commander, 498th Support Battalion, 2nd Armored Division (Forward), Germany; and Deputy Chief of Staff, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), Ft Campbell, Kentucky. As the Commander, 498th Support Battalion, he successfully provided personnel administration, supply and distribution, transportation, maintenance and health services in support of over 8,000 Soldiers. While serving as the Chief of Staff, Defense Commissary Agency, Colonel Koch successfully coordinated the actions of 14 corporate directors responsible for personnel administration, training, equal employment opportunity, financial management and information communications functions in support of Department of Defense commissary operations. While serving on the Joint Chief of Staff, he managed and coordinated transportation, food, clothing, fuel and water actions across all services.
