The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

COL Robert A. Harney
Class of 2021

Colonel Robert A. Harney, Jr. received a Regular Army commission in 1987 as a Distinguished Military Graduate of the US Army Officer Candidate School, Fort Benning, Georgia. He graduated in 1991, Magna Cum Laude, from Hawaii Pacific University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He also holds a Master of Business Administration, Webster University; a Master of Military Arts & Sciences, US Army Command and General Staff College; a Master of Strategic Studies, Air War College; and a Master of Divinity Degree, Virginia Union University. Colonel Harney served in a variety of Quartermaster and logistics assignments, which include: Commandant and Military Deputy, Army Logistics University; Assistant Commandant/Chief of Staff and Chief, Office of the Quartermaster General, US Army Quartermaster School; Commander, Defense Distribution Center Anniston, Defense Logistics Agency-Distribution, Anniston Army Depot, Alabama; Joint Logistics Planner, USPACOM, Camp Smith, Hawaii; Support Operations and Executive Officer, 203rd Forward Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division (Mechanized), Fort Benning, Georgia (OIF 1); Aide to the Director, Defense Logistics Agency, Fort Belvoir, Virginia; Assignment Officer, US Army Human Resource Command; and Commander, E CO (Parachute Rigger), 782nd Main Support Battalion, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
