The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

CSM Karl A. Roberts
Class of 2016

Command Sergeant Major Roberts’s key assignments include: Command Sergeant Major, 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command (ESC), Fort Knox; Command Sergeant Major, U.S. Army Garrison, Fort McPherson/Gillem, Georgia; Command Sergeant Major, 7th Special Forces Group Support Battalion, Fort Bragg; S-3 Operations Sergeant Major, 3rd Sustainment Brigade, Fort Stewart, Georgia; and First Sergeant, HHC, Division Support Command, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg. During his tenure as the CSM, 3rd ESC, the unit was converted to a Joint Sustainment Command (JSC-A). Under CSM Roberts’ leadership, the JSC-A excelled  in providing command and control over sustainment and distribution activities (food, water, fuel, transportation, maintenance, ammunition and supplies) for in excess of 200,000 U.S. and Allied Forces personnel in United States Forces – Afghanistan battle space.
