The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

CSM Mary Sutherland
Class of 2016

 Command Sergeant Major Sutherland’s key assignments include: sixteen years of overseas service; the Senior Enlisted Adviser, Fort Ord, California; Command Sergeant Major, 22nd Support Group, Vicenza, Italy; Command Sergeant Major, Division Support Command, 1st Armored Division, Germany; and the Command Sergeant Major, Corps of Cadets and the Academy, West Point, New York. CSM Sutherland was the first female to serve as the Command Sergeant Major, Senior Enlisted Advisor at West Point Military Academy in New York. This fact is proven by her selection and successful completion of assignments in premier organizations in the Army – assignments the Army entrust only to their best and brightest Soldiers. CSM Sutherland always rewarded their confidence by delivering consistently superior results under the toughest of conditions. Her career and life accomplishments and contributions are textbook examples of “duty, honor, and country!”
