The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

   CW5 Gillis’ key assignments include: Command Food Advisor for the U.S. Army Special Operations Command, Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Command Food Advisor/Commissary Officer for the U.S. Forces Korea and the Eighth U.S. Army, Yongsan Garrison, Korea; Division Food Advisor/Technician, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg; Command Food Advisor Technician, 1st Corps Support Command, XVIII Airborne Corps, Fort Bragg; Food Advisor/Technician, Multinational Forces and Observers El Gorah, Sinai, Egypt; and Division Food Advisor/Technician, 101st Airborne Division, Fort Campbell. CW5 Gillis received accolades from the XVII Airborne Corps and Fort Bragg Commander for successfully planning and execution the certification (free of cost to the Soldier) of training to 84 Food Service Personnel for Master Certified Food Executive, Certified Food Executive, Certified Food Manager, Certified Professional Food Manager – Food Safety, and Certified Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Manager.
