The Quartermaster Hall of Fame award is the highest form of recognition the Corps offers. This much coveted award honors individuals who are judged to have made the most significant contributions to the overall history and traditions of the Quartermaster Corps.

SES James B. Emahiser
Class of 2020

Mr. Emahiser retired as the head of his own consulting firm which specialized in supply chain management, logistics and acquisition, change management and business process reengineering. Prior, Mr. Emahiser was Vice President of Intermec Technologies, a leader in providing supply chain solutions and cost reduction technology.

Prior to his appointment with Intermec, Mr. Emahiser retired from the Department of Defense where he last held the position of Principal Assistant Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Logistics and Materiel Readiness) and served as the acting Deputy Under Secretary of Defense (Logistics and Materiel Readiness. He has over 32 years of logistics, acquisition and management experience during his tenure with the Department of Defense.

His education includes An MBA from Southern Illinois University; and a graduate of the J.F.K. School of Government and National Security, Harvard University.

Mr. Emahiser is the recipient of the Defense Medal for Exceptional Civilian Service twice and also the recipient of the National Defense Industrial Association Logistician Emeritus award for 2001.
